It Snowed!!

We got a light dusting of snow last week, which was crazy since the day before the high was 78 degrees....this was Georgia Rae's first time to see snow. Here are a few pics of the house and of Daddy taking her outside...

It's a GIRL...again!!! :)

So, I am 19 weeks pregnant with baby number two. Last week was the big sonogram to find out the sex of the baby and in true Kim fashion, I didn't want to do it the usual way. You may or may not know that last time, we threw a HUGE party, complete with live band, we cut into a cake to reveal that we were having a girl..the middle filling was pink. It is only fair that number two get a party! Well, we did something similar this time, only I made 2 little onesies, very much like the T-shirt I made for Georgia Rae - "I'm the big sister" that revealed to Ben (and later to others) that we were expecting number two. The onsies said "I'm the little sister" and "I'm the little brother". The sonographer, after discovering the sex of the baby, put the correct onesie, the sonogram picture, and a card I'd made, into a gift bag. That night, we had about 35 friends and family over for a pizza and cake reveal party. Everyone had to sign in and cast their vote and a prize was awarded too. We opened the gift bag in front of everyone and pulled out the onesie that reads "I'm the little SISTER". We had a great time and are so thankful that Georgia Rae will be getting a new baby sister around May 7th!!! Now, we just have to name her so we can stop calling her Number 2!

Here it is! It was a relaity check seeing how small the 0-3 month onesies are...I'd forgotten how little they are when they're born. We can't wait!

OK, OK, OK...

SOOOOO...October Huh? Gheez...A LOT has happened since then...and the thought of trying to recap and photo document it all...well, that has kept my overwhelmed self from updating...so, I am just jumping in...where we are now...we have moved to the coast of Texas, Lake Jackson...an hour south of Houston, Ben is now in the home building business....Georgia Rae is 13 months old...is walking, running, and talking...doing great...is so smart and funny and just loves the water...we are having a blast with her....here are a few recent pics...
